football, National League North
Another day at Glanford Park, this time Gloucester City visiting. Think they’re the furthest based Southern team in National League North. So some trek for the fans. 34 of them made the journey from various places, plus myself for 35. They never shut up in all fairness to them, so credit for that. First half we were given so much time and space, maybe too much in all fairness. I felt we tried walking the ball in to the net. instead of getting the shot away. Great strike from Butterfield for the 1st goal. Second half, Gloucester got more into the game and didn’t offer as much space. They never let heads drop and played to the end. I felt on a different day we’d have scored more. Once again a professional display to pick up 3 points, to send us top of the league. Gloucester dropped to the bottom with Darlington winning. On to Kings Lynn Tuesday night 👍🏼
