LEEK TOWN ADVANCE IN FA CUP It was the perfect start for new manger Josh Brehaut as his Leek Town team brushed away a plucky Grimsby Borough five goals to nil to progress to the Second Qualifying Round of The Emirates FA Cup. In the end it was a fairly comfortable win for the Blues, and could have been more if not for the heroics of the Borough keeper Higton, as Stevenson, Trickett-Smith & Opoku all netted. Brehaut opted to name Akandji, Harrison & Trickett-Smith in his starting line up against Step 4 Grimsby Borough who ply their trade in the NPL East.
