After the disappointment of losing to Oldham at the weekend. Tuesday night was massive against Walsall. They’d lost 6 in a row, we’d lost 7. Well guess what, we’re now unbeaten in 1. First half, Walsall wasted a host of chances. Scunthorpe capitalised on that and got the only goal of the game after Millen had hit the post from a free kick, Rowe was on hand to put the ball in the net. Pugh sent off for a second booking in 53rd. We stuck to the task in hand and came out winners. Massive relief. Could we do it? 5 points from safety, well 6 really as GD is dreadful. 16 massive games to go. We need to go to Swindon and pick up something and build on this win.
