Round 2 of the West Indies Four Day Championships began today with the T&T Red Force taking on the West Indies Academy at the Conaree Cricket Ground. The Academy batted first and grappled with the pace of Anderson Phillip and Jayden Seales. There were only three batters achieving double figures, led by Teddy Bishop's 65. Joshua Bishop was second best getting 32 not out. Seales finished with 3 wickets for 26 runs and Phillip 3 for 63. Khary Pierre supported with 2 for 16. They closed their innings on 163 all out in 39 overs. The Red Force took to the crease and looked solid at 83 without loss. Vikash Mohan top scoring thus far, getting a credible 54. The Red Force hold the edge at the close of day one, finishing the day on 128 for 3, trailing the Windies Academy by 35 runs. The not-out overnight batters are Jyd Goolie on 15 and Amir Jangoo on 24.
