Another Saturday, another game. This time FA Trophy, Second Round action. Darlington FC the visitors. A team sat 3rd bottom of the NLN, after an 8-0 loss at Chorley on Tuesday night. A team we beat back in August 4-0. So with a strong line up you’d think plenty of goals - nope. Once again another game where we controlled it and never really got a sweat up as such, with a 2-0 win. Smith and Rocketman (Butterfield) the scorers. Which I think means, we can say we’re on a cup run now. Who we wanting in the next round, seeing as National League teams join us. Still regionalised in the third round too. So won’t be making a trip to Weymouth just yet 😉 Up next, back in league action on Tuesday evening with Southport visiting us.
