Welcome back!! It’s the second weekend with fans at games across Wales and as of today there’s no capacity cap at outdoor events so a bumper crowd turned up to watch the Abertillery derby! It’s an FAW Trophy tie today! The first derby in 6 years between to fierce rivals, Abertillery Bluebirds (today’s hosts) have been the more successful side in recent years, having been in the third tier of Welsh football (the Ardal leagues) for 2 successive years before this where the visitors Abertillery Excelsiors have had back to back promotions from the fifth tier to the third tier!
