Tadcaster Albion 3-0 Scarborough Athletic The FA Cup with Budweiser First Round Qualifying 3pm, Saturday 17 September 2 Inspire Park, Tadcaster Albion FC Watch highlights in the player on the right Tadcaster Albion manager Paul Marshall is hoping for another home tie, after his side cruised past Scarborough Athletic in their FA Cup First Round Qualifying tie at the 2inspire Park. The North Yorkshire derby, which was selected to receive the FATV treatment this weekend, was one to forget for Scarborough who were undone by the familiar face of striker Danny Gray - a former Athletic player. Tadcaster's 2008 topscorer, who rejoined the club this summer following spells at Pickering Town and Scarborough, edged the Brewers ahead after 14 minutes. And Gray was at it again just past the hour-mark when he doubled Tadcaster's advantage, seizing on a mistake by Athletic defender Darryl Winters and edging his side ever close to Second Round Qualifying. In the closing stages Carl Stewart iced the cake for Marshall's side with a sublime free-kick to wrap up the 3-0 victory, but the manager admitted: "Carl doesn't usually take free-kicks and we were telling him to keep the ball. "But he just walked up to it and smashed it in. We might get him on more free-kicks now though after that one." On the result, Marshall added: "I'm obviously delighted. It was a tremendous performance and it's a good result for everyone involved at the club. "Beyond today we're just looking to take what we can get and deal with it in the best way we can. But I must say we are hoping for another home tie though in the next round."
