But Newtown did collect a well-needed three points during their last outing, as they came from behind to win 3-2 against Bala Town and keep their top-three ambitions alive. That was the Robins’ first victory in 2023, and if Newtown were to win again on Friday, then who knows if Chris Hughes’ troop could make a late push for an automatic European spot.
