The Silkmen moved five points clear at the top of the North West Counties Football League Premier Division on Monday, thanks to a 2 - 1 victory against Winsford United. Matthew Coughlan opened the scoring for the visitors in the 6th minute, yet this was cancelled out by Neil Danns shortly after the interval.
