Rajasthan Royals took a 29-run over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 39 of the Indian Premier League today. Batting first, RR reached 144 for eight in their 20 overs. Man of the Match, 20 year old Riyan Parag hit an unbeaten 31 ball 56, inclusive of four sixes and three fours to lead the scorers. RR captain Sanju Sampson hit 27, Guyana's Shimron Hetmeyer only managed three. Among the RCB bowlers, Josh Hazlewood took 2 for 19, Wanindu de Silva 2 for 23, and Mohammed Siraj 2 for 30. Kuldeep Sen took 4 for 20, Ravi Ashwin 3 for 17 and Prasidh Krishna 2 for 23 as RR's bowlers limited RCB to 115 in 19.3 overs. RCB captain Faf du Plessis top scored for them with 23, de Silva hit 18 and Shahbaz Ahmed's 17 were the only batting performances of note in their ill-fated chase.
