Thankfully, the Dallas Cowboys have been having a much better December than their dismal November. After their win against the Washington Football Team in Week 14, the Cowboys are now 9-4 on the season and 3-0 in NFC East play. From one NFC East opponent to the next, the Cowboys are set to take on the New York Giants in New Jersey in Week 15. The Giants are 4-9 and have no doubt been struggling as of late. The Cowboys have won their last two games and the Giants have lost their last two. This will be the second time these two teams meet this year. In Week 5, the Cowboys beat the Giants in dominating fashion with a 44-20 victory in Dallas with Mike Glennon under center for the G-Men (which could happen again). On paper, America’s Team should get the W here, as they have won eight of their last nine games against the Giants. However, the Cowboys have been incredibly inconsistent throughout the season, especially on offense. Prescott has not been the franchise QB that Cowboys fans want to see. He’s had multiple interception games in two of the last four contests. Plus, a lingering Ezekiel Elliott knee injury and a new Tony Pollard foot injury didn’t help the Dak and ‘Boys at all. The defense, however, is healthy and playing at full strength with a vengeance. The Cowboys’ defense put on a spectacular display against Washington in Week 15 with so many game-changing plays.
