Welcome back!! It’s the weekend of the Welsh Cup first round proper (third round total) and on Friday night I went to what looked like the stand out tie, Caldicot Town vs Penparcau. Caldicot Town play in the new Ardal league South East section (tier 3 of the Welsh football pyramid) and the visitors Penparcau play in the new Ardal league North East section (also tier 3 of the pyramid …. *apologies to Penparcau, in the vlog I said Caldicot were playing at a higher level than them, that was factually incorrect and I’m sorry. For some reason I thought you were in the mid wales league) As the vlog title says it was an absolutely belting game of football for a neutral like me, although I can’t imagine either side enjoyed the full 90 minutes like I did.
