Manager Mick Vipond & club assistant Keith Hardy tell the story of Berkhampsted's Phoenix from the flames story, their love of the FA Cup & the amazing last minute goal the put them through the last round. After Bekhamsted Town FC folded due to financial problems, Berkhamsted FC was founded in 2009 by a group of local volunteers & recruited manager Mick Vipond from the start. Two successive promotions saw them awarded the prestigious Sir Stanley Rous Memorial Trophy after winning Spartan South Midlands Division 1 with a record 107 points & 122 goals scored. The Comrades are enjoying their second ever FA cup campaign, with an incredible last minute come back against higher level Uxbridge in the 1st Qualifying Round & the financial rewards are fully appreciated at Broadwater. Berkhmsted v Met Police in 2nd Qualifying Round on Saturday 22 September.
