Hello one and all, welcome to another match vlog. This video shows highlights of Chester FC’s 2-0 defeat away at Hereford FC in the Vanarama National League North on Saturday 29th December 2018. I’ll be quite honest here but we were terrible with us not showing an ounce of fight or desire. To be honest our display was probably worse than Blyth Spartans where we were awful to. Hereford more than deserved the win, although we made it far too easy for them at times. Our first half performance was an effortless effort as we gave the ball away far too many times and backed away from so many challenges. Also, Hereford were far too dominant than us as we didn’t even have a single shot on target and struggled to play the ball down. The inevitable happened on the half our mark as Danny Greenslade made it 1-0 to the hosts by lashing past Grant Shenton. To be honest we began to improve in the last 5-10 minutes of that period, but still couldn’t produce anything. Half time couldn’t come sooner enough after a miserable first half. In actual fact the second half was even worse as we still couldn’t produce anything and backed away from many challenges. The hosts went 2-0 up as Mike Symons bundled in an effort following very poor defending. Still we couldn’t muster anything which resulted in us enduring a very long journey home. Our next match is at home on Tuesday where we host Southport in a vital clash for us. I will be there of course so will upload a match preview and a vlog shortly, whilst I will upload my Chester FC Goal Of The Month for December soon.
