Colne FC and the Red Army traveled to Merseyside where they face Prescot Cables FC in the Evo-Stik first division North. The reds started brightly and took the lead courtesy of new signing Phil Dean with a chipped effort which deluded the keeper and nestled in the net . In the second half Prescot came out fighting and equalised through a goalkeeping mistake by Tony Aghayere who up to this point had had an incredible game producing some top class saves . The reds responded soon after with the ball getting fumbled over the line as Oli Wood turned away in celebration and claimed it . But again equalized with a powerful headed into the top of the net . And not too long after the team from Merseyside took the lead with a slice if good luck as a deflected shot found its way into the back of the net . The reds battled to try and rescue a point but it was no good as they where sent back too east Lancashire with nothing to show for their efforts.
