rugbyunion, English National League 2
AFC Wimbledon had to settle for a point at Newport County as the home side came from behind to draw 2-2. James Tilley continued his sensational goalscoring form in the first-half, with his well-taken brace putting Wimbledon into a commanding 2-0 lead before a Will Evans goal halved the deficit before the break. This opened up the contest with the pressure eventually telling as Newport equalised through Omar Bogle’s lobbed finish. From then on it was an end to end match that was there for the taking with both sides striking the woodwork during the 90 minutes. It will feel like three points dropped for those of a Wimbledon persuasion, however we remain unbeaten in League Two as we move further into September. #AFCW Follow the Dons on our Social Media channels 👇 https://twitter.com/AFCWimbledon https://www.facebook.com/afcwimbledon/ https://www.instagram.com/afc_wimbledon/ https://www.tiktok.com/@afcwimbledon_ Subscribe NOW to AFC Wimbledon on YouTube to get notified when new videos land: https://youtube.com/AFCWimbledonOfficial ✅ Buy tickets here for AFC Wimbledon’s upcoming matches: https://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/tickets/ 🎟 You can also shop for our latest merchandise: https://shopping.afcwimbledon.co.uk/ 🛒
