It was another brilliant day of LV=Insurance County Championship cricket at New Road, albeit rain delayed as Ed Barnard hit a superb 90 with the Pears' tail. With Alzarri Joseph, Joe Leach and Dillon Pennington, Barnard took the attack to Derbyshire as Worcestershire were bowled out for 421. After a lengthy rain delay after lunch, Worcestershire finally got out into the field and made their time with the new ball count, as Barnard, Pennington and Leach all took a wicket as the visitors closed day two on 91/3.
