The visitors battled to a half-time lead but four different try-scorers secured a bonus point win, regaining momentum from the Blackheath loss. After early Park pressure, it was the home side who broke away first with Fergus Mulchrone finishing off a counter-attack. But Kieran Power’s men were level nine minutes later, Joe Munro running to the post after sustained play. The lead was gained on 28 minutes as James Freeman broke through before feeding Ellis to run 30 metres. Sale’s Chris Johnson added to his tally with six minutes to half time as he kicked a short penalty. But Lound, who sits one place above the fly-half in the Nat 1 scoring charts, stayed ahead with his own penalty kick three minutes before half time. And the kicker put three more points on the board five minutes after the restart, again close to the posts. Johnson responded once again by placing a drop kick between the sticks four minutes later. Pace was the name of the game from then on as substitute Owen Hughes passed the ball through Sale’s defence on 53 minutes. The bonus came 11 minutes later, Benji Marfo capitalising on the space from Park’s breakdown play on the five-metre line. And the floodgates opened with six minutes to go as Craig Holland grabbed his fourth try of the season. Last season’s top-scorer then turned provider for Jack Gash to get his first try of the season in the closing moments. - Sale Tries: Mulchrone 13 Conversions: Johnson 14 Penalties: Johnson 34 Drop goals: Johnson 49 Sin Bins: Team (15-9/1-8): Fergus Mulchrone; Tom Brady, James Williams, Jeremy To’a, Patrick Ah Van (Tom Roebuck 54); Chris Johnson (Tom Curtis 54), Raffie Quirke; Dan Birchall, Juan Pablo Rivas (Ollie Longmore 41), Matt Talaese (Cal Ford 35; Talaese 72); William Davies, Stone Priestley-Nangle (Nick Gray 40); Jake Barron (Priestley-Nangle 67), Andrew Hughes, Jarad Williams - Rosslyn Park Tries: Munro 22, Ellis 28, Hughes 53, Marfo 64, Holland 74, Gash 78 Conversions: Lound 23, 29, 54, Holland 65, 79 Penalties: Lound 37, 45 Sin Bins: Team (15-9/1-8): Henry Robinson; Ben Howard, Henry Cheeseman (Craig Holland 54), Joe Munro, Benji Marfo; Greg Lound (Jack Gash 60), Dave Lewis; Kyle Traynor, Karl Gibson (Owen Hughes 17), Paul Doran-Jones (Nick Lovell 60); Jonathan Mills © (Jack Barnard 54), Gregor Gillanders; James Freeman, Arthur Ellis, Dan Laventure -   Attendance: 350 Referee: Ben Rayner HT: 10-17 Star Man: Owen Hughes – Rosslyn Park
