It took a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Reece Beekman for the Virginia Cavaliers to survive a very tough test from the Syracuse Orange, winning 72-69 to advance to the ACC Tournament Semifinals. Sam Hauser led the Cavaliers with 21 points, and Jay Huff added a 13 point, 12 rebound double-double in the win. Buddy Boeheim continued his hot shooting, scoring 31 points on 10-17 shooting to lead the Orange.
