The Notre Dame Fighting Irish close out the First Round of the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament with a buzzer-beating 80-77 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Trey Wertz hit the 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded, breaking a 77-77 tie and sending Notre Dame to the Second Round. Wertz and Juwan Durham each had 16 points to lead the Fighting Irish. Cormac Ryan and Prentiss Hubb chipped in 14 points each in the win. Daivien Williamson led Wake Forest with 21 points, and Isaiah Mucius added 20 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
